What is drywall installation?

Installing drywall is the process of building or repairing structures by installing sheets of drywall, a type of durable plasterboard. This can be done with either nails and drywall screws for small projects like frames and cabinets, but usually involves heavy machinery and lots of time for larger jobs. Drywall installation is often challenging because it needs to be cut into pieces that fit in the wall space, then attached to framing members such as studs with screws or nails. A finished surface may need additional coatings such as joint compound (a mixture used in construction) or paint before being ready to use. Some specialized tradespeople who work on this kind of project is known as drywalls installers, sheetrock installers, or sheathers depending on where you live.

Malibu Remodelers has been installing drywall for years and counting! We have a team of experts that can take on any project, no matter how much drywall, may it be large or small.
